Typically, you will capture your ideas, tasks, notes and next actions using the Windows System
Tray Capture (STC). As the name suggests this tool is loaded and minimized to the Windows
System Tray.
You simply start your capturing by clicking on the icon.
Clicking this icon reveals the capture dialog.
As per the example below, all you need to do is to type your ideas, tasks, notes or next actions,
and then click "Send To Basket" or press the ENTER key. You can of course change the
category or tag associated with this capture.
You can enter multiple entries, one after another, by simply clicking "Send and Add Another"
instead of the "Send To Basket" button.
Within this dialog, you also have the ability to attach a file. This is done by entering the fully
qualified file name in the "Attach" prompt (or use the File Open dialog), then clicking "Add".
This will instruct TPAssistCapture to send a link to this file with your note. You can choose
whether to delete or leave a copy of this file in place after
Basket Processing.
All items (and their attachments) will remain stored in the basket until you open MindManager and
do the
Basket Processing
.. Periodically, TPAssistCapture will remind you how many items you
have stored.
