The Quick Links capability has been evolved inv1.8. "Quick Links V2" supports groups, linked lists and anadditional level of tagging. The "Groups" capability allows you to buildgroups of Quick Links and have them displayed in Capture toolsunder those headings. The "Linked List" capability allows you to buildyour Quick Links map dynamically based on a list in anothermap. For example, you may wish to dynamically create a listof links to your project maps. Instead of having to create alink in the project list map and the Quick Links map, as was thecase previously, all you do now is create a Linked List to yourproject list map. When you rebuild your Quick Links, TPAssistwill automatically extract the links from your project list andmake them available to your Capture process. The additional level of tagging, allows you totag links in your Quick Links map for specific purposes. Oncetagged, TPAssist can make these Quick Links available to you in theCapture dialog box. For example, you could tag a Quick Linkas "Later Start Target", notifying TPAssist where you want linkscreated to topics you choose to Defer.
