The TPAssist 2007 software consists of three components. Firstly there are two software Add-ins,
one for MindManager
and one for Microsoft Outlook. These Add-ins embed commands buttons in
toolbars and menus. The third component is the TPAssist Console.

The TPAssist 2007 Add- in for MindManager 7 or MindManager 8 includes a customised Ribbon
as well as context sensitive embedded commands. The details are outlined below.
The TPAssist Ribbon includes the following commands:

Journal - This command opens the TPAssist Console and displays the Journal Tab.

Create Task - This multi- select enabled command automatically adds basic
task data to the selected topics (adding "Priority 4" and percent complete =
0%).

Activate Task - This multi-select enabled command automatically activates the
task,incrementing the priority, initially to Priority 3, then Priority 3, then Priority
2, then Priority 1. This automation command also adds a Start Date.

Progress Task - This multi-select enabled command automatically progresses
the percent complete. The task or selected tasks will be progressed in
increments of 25% up-to 75% and then 99%.

Defer Task - This multi-select enabled command automatically defers the due
date of selected tasks. The deferral operates on the next business day.
Repeated clicks of the button will continue deferring the due date by 1 day.

Quick Complete - This multi-select enabled command automatically completes
the selected tasks, removing the priority, changing the percent complete to
100% and dimming the topic. If the Due date is in the future, it will be set to
today's date.

Complete Task - This multi-select enabled command automatically completes
the selected tasks, removing the priority, changing the percent complete to
100% and dimming the topic. If the Due date is in the future, it will be set to
today's date. If the start date is in the future it will also be set to today's date.

Topic - This command opens the TPAssist Console and displays the Topic Tab.

Display - This multi-select enabled command toggles the "
Topic Display Profile" of the
selected topics.

Topic Update - This command performs a Tree Update from the focus topic.

Publish - This command opens the TPAssist Console and displays the Publish Tab.

Properties - This command opens the TPAssist Console and displays the Document
Tab.

Tree Update - This command opens the TPAssist Console and displays the Tree
Update Tab.

Capture - Process - This command kicks off the Capture / Store / Process
Basket Processor.

Capture - Add Topic - This command adds the focus topic to the
Quick Link map. (NB:
If you are in a Summary Map
, a Green Flag will automatically be added to the Quick
Link topic).

Capture - Send Map - This command
sends the current map to the Capture / Store /
Process basket.

Capture - Send Topic - This command
sends the current topic tree
to the Capture /
Store / Process basket.

Capture - Link At - This command creates a
linked topic to the focus topic
at one of the
Quick Link locations.

New Map - This command opens a new mind map based on the built- in TPAssist
template.

Save All - This simple extension to MindManager 7, saves all open maps.

Options - This launches the TPAssist
Options dialog (use it to also access the
Licensing Wizard and Check For Update command).

Help - The TPAssist 2007 Help (web based).
TPAssist 2007 Add- in for MindManager 7 or MindManager 8 also embeds commands
buttons in the following places:

Topic Context Menu: Four buttons have been added to the Topic Context Menu
(Right- Click on any map topic). The first button,
TPAssist Tree Update, performs a
manual Tree Update on the focus topic and its sub- topics. If the Focus Topic is
linked to a sub- map, the sub- map is opened and updated also. The second
button, TPAssist Journal, is a short- cut to the Journal tab with- in the Console.
The third button, TPAssist Topic, is a short- cut to the Topic tab with- in the
Console. The final button, Topic Nodes Concat is a tool that joins the child topics
to the focus topic and is very useful for consolidating brainstormed notes.

File New Menu: A "New TPAssist Document" command button has been added to
the MindManager Button -- > New Menu. This command opens a new mind map
based on the built- in TPAssist template.
NOTE: Journal and Topic tabs with- in the Console are disabled if there is no Focus Topic.

The TPAssist 2007 Add-in for MindManager 6 embeds command buttons in the following places:

Export Toolbar: A TPAssist Console button is added to the Export Toolbar, typically located
across the bottom of the MindManager window.

Tools Menu: Two further buttons are added to the Tools Menu, one for the TPAssist Console
and another to take you directly to the Publish tab with- in the Console. You can also
access the various Capture / Store / Process commands.

Topic Context Menu: Three buttons have been added to the Topic Context Menu (Right-
Click on any map topic). The first button,
TPAssist Tree Update, performs a manual Tree
Update on the focus topic and its sub- topics. If the Focus Topic is linked to a sub-map, the
sub-map is opened and updated also. The second button,
TPAssist Journal, is a short-
cut to the Journal tab with-in the Console. The third button,
TPAssist Topic, is a short-cut to
the Topic tab with-in the Console.

The TPAssist 2007 Add-in for Microsoft Outlook embeds command buttons in the following places:

Outlook Standard toolbar: Two commands buttons have been added to the main toolbar
with-in Outlook. The first button launches the options window, for configuring the Outlook add-
in. The second button launches the linkage capability, which will either switch to
MindManager, if the selected item has been created by TPAssist, or facilitate linkage of the
selected items to the focus topic with-in the mind map.

Item Standard toolbar: A command button has been added to the standard toolbar with-in
Outlook items. This button launches the linkage capability, which will either switch to
MindManager, if the selected item has been created by TPAssist, or facilitate linkage of the
active item to the focus topic with-in the mind map.
NOTE: In Outlook 2007, the button is
located with-in the Add-Ins tab in the Ribbon bar.
